Spring Has Sprung!
Today is the first day of spring and that means a season for rebirth and the season for lightweight fabrics and lighter colored clothing. We transition from our heavy and dark winter clothing to light and airy garments that help keep us cool during the warm sunny spring days. Yes, we know that florals for spring are groundbreaking (Miranda Priestly is giving me a severe side-eye) however, I prefer light stripes and gingham, linen and soft cottons, greys, creams, blues and whites to get me through the spring season.
I love co-ordinates and H&M helped me start my spring with the perfect spring outfit - a light cotton striped bustier top with a tummy flattering circle skirt. I finished this look off with a pair of camel embellished Giuseppe Zanotti espadrilles. Nothing says spring like a pair of espadrilles.
